Timeline:
- April 8th: Final Demo (Build, Trailer, and Peer Evals)
Synopsis:
We are nearing the end of this project but are still just around the riverbend (ðŸ˜). Over the last week we have worked on refining and fixing some issues that we found during our Zynga and Beta testing.
- Improved camera movement by adding smoother rotations
- Changed documents interactions to be more intuitive. Stay on the page rather than disappearing when the mouse is moved. Click on the document to close.
- Added an additional flavor document to help understand the story a bit more.
- Made some quality of life fixes: Zinger text no longer appears in odd situations; Wish no longer gets stuck in desk during switch character cut scene
- Jules is no longer gray! Added color texture to show Jules’ personality.
- Added an amazing, spectacular, one-of-a-kind, never-been-seen-before game logo!
Although this is our final submission for class, we are not done! We have yet to face our final and most treacherous battle yet…Level Up.
Changes before Level Up:
- Add a notch in settings to allow players to choose between fancier lighting and the older one.
- Add animations to the newly rigged Jules model.
- Flesh-out foyer/entryway area.
- Add midway instructions to help nudge characters in the right direction.
